Archery Target Reparation

I have a great target but unfortunately for it, I shoot too much… ๐Ÿ˜Š ๐Ÿ˜Š ๐Ÿ˜Š

This is the result of everyday shooting (around 150 arrows) during last 6 months – more or less 25 – 30 000 arrows all around the center. I shoot inside my home and I cannot risk aiming at the corners. Of course, it would be used much more without any need of reparation, if I was shooting outside, as on this way I would not use only the center.

My idea for reparation was simple, just to swap the inner with the outer layers. I did not have new metal Strap & Seal kit, so I decided to try reusing the old ones. As additional tool for holding all together I used one ratchet strap.

Now it was ready for testing.

Even though now the layers in the center were new, the target was not stopping perfectly the arrows because of the missing material.

To fix that, I just filled the hols out with old clothes and I had the target ready for the next 20 000 arrows.
